Thanks to a donated flight from Contour Airlines and the work of Dream Factory of Southeast Missouri, a hometown nonprofit that grants dreams to children facing serious and chronic illnesses, these two special guests boarded a plane bound for Chicago with excitement (and a BTS concert) waiting on the other end.
Dream Factory of Southeast Missouri is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that grants dreams to children between the ages of 3 and 18 who are facing critical or chronic illnesses. Unlike many wish-granting organizations, Dream Factory also supports children whose conditions may not be life-threatening but still require significant medical management. Approximately 90% of funds raised locally stay within the Southeast Missouri chapter, directly benefiting local dream children and their families.
Contour Airlines, which operates daily flights from the City of Cape Girardeau Regional Airport, donated round-trip airfare to help make this dream possible. It’s a reminder of the generosity that exists throughout our community, and of the role a hometown airport can play in something much bigger than a boarding pass.
